Our "Local-First" Architecture

At fballyt, we believe your data belongs to you. Whether you are using our mobile app or our website tools, our architecture is designed to keep user data on your device, not our servers.

Part 1: Mobile Application

Our mobile app is built with an Offline-First philosophy. All match statistics, player profiles, and scouting notes are stored in a high-performance local database (Isar NoSQL) directly on your device.

We do not upload, sync, or store this specific performance data on our company servers.

Security Note

Manual data exports are protected with AES-256 symmetric key encryption. Even when you manually back up your data for personal use, it remains protected against unauthorized access.

Deleting Your Local App Data

Since your data is stored locally, you have complete control. You can permanently delete all information collected within the app by following these steps:

Method A: Uninstall the Application

Uninstalling the app from your device automatically removes the local storage folder, including the Isar database and all scouting history.

Method B: Clear App Storage (Android Only)
  1. Open device Settings > Apps.
  2. Select fballyt > Storage.
  3. Tap Clear Data or Clear Storage.

Warning: This action is irreversible.

App Third-Party Data
  • Google AdMob (Advertising): Uses an Advertising ID to serve ads. You can revoke consent in the app via Settings > Privacy Settings, which triggers the Google UMP consent form.
  • Firebase Analytics: Collects anonymized crash data tied to your installation instance. Uninstalling the app permanently discards this identifier.

Part 2: Website & Tactical Board

Our website (fballyt.com) and the Online Tactical Board are static tools. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not have a database of user profiles for the website.

Tactical Board Data

Your saved formations and tactics are stored using Browser LocalStorage. This data lives 100% in your specific browser instance. We cannot see, access, or recover your saved tactics.

How to Delete Tactical Board Data

You can wipe all saved tactics instantly by either:

  • Using the "Reset" button within the Tactical Board tool.
  • Clearing your browser's Cache and Cookies for fballyt.com.
Website Third-Party Services
Strictly Necessary Infrastructure

While we do not run tracking or ad-marketing scripts, you may notice passive cookies (such as AEC, NID, or SID) in your console. These are generated by our infrastructure providers (Google/Firebase) and external assets like the Google Play badge. They are used for:

  • Security: Protecting the site against automated attacks and CSRF threats.
  • Stability: Ensuring regional assets like app store badges load correctly.

These do not store personal names or contact info, and we do not use them to track your identity or behavior.

User Control: You can choose to block all third-party cookies in your browser settings and delete any eventual cookies at any time by clearing your browser history for fballyt.com. Our core tools (like the Tactical Board) will remain functional even with third-party cookies blocked.

Plausible Analytics (Privacy-First)

We use Plausible to count website visitors. Plausible is a privacy-focused tool that does not use cookies, does not track you across other sites, and collects no personal data. No "opt-out" is required because no personal data is ever collected.
